Founded in 2002 after adopting a dog the year before, Happy Tails was born out of Wendy Dorfman's search to find a pet care firm that could accommodate her sweet and loving, but slightly neurotic, and very challenging dog.

Happy Tails is a pet care firm providing personalized dog walking and pet sitting services in Northwest Washington, DC. We work closely with clients to provide services that meet each pets needs, whether its exercise, socialization, companionship or to reinforce obedience training. We also design our services to meet the needs of pet owners. Clients work directly with one person, so they always know who is taking care of their pets and their home.

Happy Tails provides daily mid-day walks. Other arrangements are available upon request. Please contact Wendy to discuss your specific needs.

Happy Tails provides a full range of pet sitting services. In addition to walking, feeding and spending time with your pets, we will collect the mail and water your plants. We're also happy to assist with other tasks while you're away from home. Please contact Wendy to discuss your specific needs.
